Location: Multimatic Niche Vehicles NA, Newmarket, Ontario, CanadaPosition OverviewLocated in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is the exclusive production facility of the Ford Mustang GTD.MNVNA is seeking a Human Resources Administrator (12-month contract) to handle the daily administrative activities associated with HR functions. The successful candidate will report directly to the HR Manager and work closely with the Production Team to assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee inquiries, and updating/managing HR documentation.Duties And ResponsibilitiesMain contact for employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and other HR related issuesUpdating and maintaining accurate employee records and HR documentationProvide support for payroll and benefits administration Collaborate with Hiring Managers / Production Managers to understand the hiring needs and roles to be filledMaintain job descriptions, post to career website (Workday) Review resumes, screen applicants, and schedule interviewsPromote an internal referral programWork with placement agencies, if needed, to assist with the recruitment processAssist in recruiting events as neededConduct reference checks when requiredManage internal ATS (Workday), utilize the system and be the master userConduct onboarding/orientation for all new hires, including Health and Safety trainingAssist with benefit enrollment presentations (Medical/Dental benefits, RRSP)Coordinate internal and external training when required (Kaizen training, First Aid training, Forklift training etc.) Assist with other HR / Administrative duties as neededAny other reasonable requests made by Management Education And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or relevant degree – preferredPrevious Human Resources Administrative experience is preferredRecruiting experience in an automotive / manufacturing environment is an assetProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwarePrevious experience with Workday is an assetExcellent communication skills – verbal and written Excellent interpersonal skills – approachable demeanor, great listenerProactive and independent with the ability to take initiativeExcellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlinesExcellent at multi-taskingAttention to detail is criticalMaintaining confidentiality is criticalTo learn more about Multimatic, check out our youtube channel - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psOjJIh3t90If you are interested in this position, apply by sending us your cover letter and resume.We thank all interested candidates in advance; however, only individuals selected for interviews will be contacted.As part of our commitment to ensuring our employment practices are fair, accessible, and inclusive of persons with disabilities, recruitment-related accommodations for disabilities, are available upon request throughout the recruitment and assessment process for applicants with disabilities.
