About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced HR Advisory (Generalist) professional to provide a full, professional, and confidential HR support service across the organization. This position serves as a key partner to business leaders and HR colleagues, ensuring consistent delivery of HR programs, compliance with Finnish labor regulations, and a strong employee experience.The HR Advisory (Generalist) will support the entire employee lifecycle and collaborate with global and regional HR specialists to deliver key HR initiatives. This is a remote role, but candidates must be based in the Helsinki area for occasional in-person meetings or local compliance needs.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with HR leadership and business teams to deliver HR objectives throughout the employee lifecycle.Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries, providing advice on policies, employee relations, and compliance.Manage end-to-end payroll processing in collaboration with Finance, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.Maintain a strong understanding of Finnish labor laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.Ensure HR programs are aligned globally while accommodating local market differences.Support country-level compliance, change management, and employee engagement initiatives.Prepare employee documentation including letters, contracts, and communications.Conduct exit interviews and collaborate on retention strategies.Maintain accurate employee data and records within the HRIS system.Deliver onboarding and training sessions on HR policies and compliance topics.Support the implementation of employee engagement and well-being initiatives.Act as an escalation point for HR operational issues, facilitating timely solutions.Collaborate cross-functionally to improve HR processes and identify efficiencies.Qualifications & SkillsProven experience as an HR Generalist or HR Advisor within a fast-paced, international environment.Global HR experience supporting multiple regions or working in a multinational organization.Demonstrated experience processing payroll for Finland.Strong knowledge of Finnish labor law and HR compliance.Agile, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.High attention to detail with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms.Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Fluent in English; proficiency in Finnish is a strong advantage.Why Join UsThis is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing, mission-driven organization that values collaboration, agility, and employee engagement.
