Your RoleGensler Toronto is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to partner with local leadership teams to handle heavy administration and tactical solutions with accomplishing important business objectives. In this role you will serve as a key member of the human resources team with a primary focus on data input, HRIS administration, employee engagement and culture. We are seeking passionate, self-motivated, meticulously detailed, results oriented and customer-centric individuals.What You Will DoMaintain HRIS data, perform audits, and create reportsParticipate and enhance the new hire experience including new hire orientationPartner with Talent Development team in rolling out programs, including our annual PDP program, and participate in professional development for team members across the firmParticipate on project teams to develop and execute new policies, programs or toolsTrack leave of absencesProcess and track employee referral bonus payoutsDevelop work plans and roll out yearly programs including professional development plans, engagement survey, and promotionsFacilitate global mobility of employees with transfers, relocations, immigration and visa requestsPrepare staffing and other HR related reportsProcess matching contributionsOther duties and responsibilities as appropriateYour QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field3+ years of relevant HR experience required with a heavy emphasis in data input and administrationExperience in HR operations and Canadian employment laws & regulationsMust have a solid general understanding of health & wellness and staff benefits programsMust be able to demonstrate strategic thinking, influencing, and decision-making skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriatelySelf-directed, detail-oriented problem solver with ability to produce timely, high quality deliverablesMust have the ability to recognize issues before they become significant and assist in determining the best methods for resolutionMust have the ability to effectively present complex information via development of presentations or reports to organizational leadersMust have the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with corporate partners and other service providers (i.e. healthcare providers, ADP, contingent staffing vendors, etc.)Exceptional interpersonal and client service skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWorkday HRIS experience strongly preferredAdvanced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Sense of humor and the ability to have fun in a dynamic, fast-paced, creative environmentPlease submit your resume and cover letter as a PDF.Life at GenslerAt Gensler, we are as committed to enjoying life as we are to delivering best-in-class design.
