PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITESOverall in charge of Human Resources function of Philippines in developing and delivering the people strategy of SGS Philippines that supports the country and regional people agenda and organization’s future growth and development plansSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITESActs as the business partner to provide advice and support to business heads, functional heads and Managing Director on people issues to meet business objectives.Formulate and implement HR plan and programs that support organizational strategies and assist the business in achieving business goals.Review and develop local HR policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the policies and practices are aligned with the business priorities and regional people strategy.Oversees and ensures smooth functioning of overall human resources operations, including but not limited to, manpower planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, talent development and retention, organization culture, total reward, performance management, employee relations, HR budget and internal communication, etc.Provides daily coaching to local HR team members to support them to build their HR competencies and to enable them to perform their roles effectively.Have an oversight of local labor law to ensure our HR policies and practices in full compliance with local labor legislation and Group policies; proactively advise management on any required actions.Participate and support in regional HR projects as assigned.PROFILEEducation University degree holder in Human Resources, BA, Organization Development or similar disciplinesExperience At least 5 years of relevant professional experience working in the industry and specifically in fields related to the industrial or construction Business LineExperience in working within a matrix organizationMinimum 20 years’ HR experience with 10 years at leadership position LanguageFluency in English both written and spoken in additions to local language.
