Job DescriptionSUMMARY OF POSITION:Plays a key role in the delivery of HR services and support to managers and employees in Japan. With limited supervision, administers, co-ordinates and manages a variety of programs and activities covering the full spectrum of HR activities, including hiring, on-boarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training & development, HRIS and reporting.Main responsibilitiesAdministers the full spectrum of HR programs processes, systems and procedures for JapanWorks with Local Payroll Vendor/Global Payroll Team to support the payroll processCoordinates and administers short and long term incentive programs and benefits programs working closely with Corporate Compensation and Benefits team, Finance and third party partners / vendors Contributes to compensation and benefits surveys for the regionEvaluates roles and analyzes benchmark data to support off cycle salary adjustments / job changes to aid management decision makingSupports hiring plan processes including evaluating roles, posting job requisitions, managing relationships with third party recruitment partners, coordinating selection processes, short-listing, interviewing, issuing offers, reference checking and on-boarding plansSupports the multiple annual HR programs (performance management, salary review and bonus campaign, engagement survey, people review, HR Budget) in line with corporate guidelinesInvolvement in a variety of HR projects and initiatives on a regional and global basis (e.g. compensation and benefits reviews, policy development, new hire orientation program etc.)Compiles, analyzes and reviews data and reports on HR activities to support business decisions and for data validation purposes, maintaining and correcting data and records (manual and computerized) as requiredAssists in evaluating, implementing, maintaining, analyzing, and auditing Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) (e.g. talent management system, recruitment and compensation system/modules)Provides advice and support to the people managers in managing local labor relationsDevelops and implements HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards and company guidelinesReviews and provides improvement advice of HR policies according to the local market trend and local labor law/regulationsSupport training activities and co-ordinate staff eventsSupport other ad hoc projects as requiredProfile DescriptionEducation and experienceUniversity Degree, preferably within a HR, business or psychology related field.Minimum of 5 year’ progressive generalist HR experience as a HR Administrator / Officer in Japan, preferably for a multinational organization with C&B backgroundExperience supporting commercial and functional / support teamsGood working knowledge of Japan labor lawsExperience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is advantageousSkills And AbilitiesAdvanced IT skills including Excel & HRIS (SuccessFactors preferred, not essential)Native level written and spoken Japanese,TOEIC greater than 800Good team playerResults drivenWell organized, flexible and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple projects across multiple, diverse, countries, balancing conflicting priorities and challenging deadlinesStrong ability to deal with ambiguity and work with limited supervisionGood presentation skillsCulturally aware, understands different perspectives of working with a diverse workforce that recognizes and respects diversity.Able to travel as neededWe OfferReasons to join usMuch more than a competitive salary, we offer continued personal development, we offer an interesting opportunity to join our global team and be part of our Global Technical Operations Leadership Team.When you join Guerbet Group, youAre choosing the world’s leader in the technological sector of diagnostic and interventional imaging,Are joining our 2600 collaborators who are committed every day to offering innovative solutions to improve quality of patient’s life in more than 80 countries all over the world,Are joining a company where we value our diverse team coming from various horizons.We # Achieve # Cooperate # Care # Innovate at Guerbet.To learn more and to apply, feel free to visit our website: www.guerbet.com
