This role involves providing expert consultation and guidance to business leaders on talent acquisition, employee retention, performance management, and development initiatives. The HRM will serve as a key point of contact for employee relations, helping to mitigate risks and resolve workplace concerns effectively. Additionally, the HRM will oversee administrative functions related to leaves, payroll, and HRIS systems, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. This position also actively participates in HR initiatives such as talent reviews, engagement surveys, benefit programs, and leadership development opportunities. The role offers a hybrid work model, with onsite presence required in Orlando on Monday through Wednesday and remote work on Thursday and Friday.QualificationsFour-year college degree or equivalent work experienceProfessional HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred3-5 years of relevant Human Resources experienceDemonstrated commitment to ongoing HR education and professional developmentKnowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws and regulationsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Experience with HRIS systems, preferably WorkdayExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentAttention to detail with effective follow-through capabilitiesAbility to resolve conflicts and mediate employee relations issues effectivelyExperience supporting remote teams and multiple business units preferredResponsibilitiesAdvise, coach, and mediate on HR-related matters with associates and managers, including leave administration, compensation, and payroll issuesInterpret, implement, and ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and company policiesConduct formal investigations into employee conduct, harassment, discrimination, and other workplace concerns, documenting findings and recommending corrective actionsProvide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolutionFacilitate leadership and team development sessions to enhance organizational effectivenessPartner with business leaders to identify high-potential talent and support development initiativesAssess business needs and provide strategic feedback to align HR practices with organizational goalsSupport talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent across multiple locations and remote teamsParticipate in HR projects aimed at policy development, process improvement, and organizational change initiativesEducate and support leaders and associates on corporate programs such as benefits, engagement surveys, and performance managementMaintain current knowledge of HR best practices and legal requirements to ensure compliance and promote a positive workplace cultureBenefitsComprehensive health insurance including medical, dental, and vision coverageFlexible spending accounts and life and accident insuranceDisability insurance and legal/identity theft protection plansPaid time off, parental leave, and holiday pay (eligibility varies)Volunteer time off through the Wish Day program401(k) retirement plan with employer matching (eligibility required)Voluntary income protection benefitsWellness programs and Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Equal OpportunityTravel + Leisure Co. is an equal opportunity employer.
