Embrace this opportunity to make a significant impact in a high-tech setting!How You Will Contribute And What You Will LearnIn this HW Engineer position you will work in mechanics design area in close co-operation with product programs as well as with suppliers. Your main tasks include:Perform mechanics design and structural FEA for telecommunications products to assure mechanical integrity and reliability.Create simulation material models from test data.Prepare and review reports related to structural simulation.Develop new structural simulation methods and workflows.Participate in feasibility studies.Assist in troubleshooting and resolution of issues.Contribute to technical documentation.Must HaveKEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEBSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering (or related field with structural mechanics focus).Knowledge of FEA software (preferably Ansys) and FEA theory.Experience of R&D tools (Creo, Windchill, Enovia, Ansys Mechanical, Ansys Discovery).Entry level experience with static/dynamic, nonlinear, and thermomechanical FEA analysisIt Would Be Nice If You Also HadUnderstanding of simulating solder joints and using explicit simulations.Understanding of strain gauge measurements and mechanical design.Please note that this role is located in Oulu, Finland.
