Job Description

Every Hydrographic Data Processor is responsible for processing, quality assessing, and ensuring the compliance of acquired survey data with client requirements. The main objective is to process the data into the client's requested deliverables (seafloor bathymetry, charts, features, etc.). You will have the opportunity for structured training under the guidance of experienced mentors.Responsibilities:- To control the quality of the initial survey data.- Process and compile the results of bathymetry and mapping of the seabed using specialized software. (EIVA NaviSuite, Qimera).- Keep regular logs entries to track changes made to the data.- Direct interaction with experienced specialists, both in the learning process and overcoming challenges.- Follow the documentation and requirements of the client when performing different types of work.Qualifications:We are looking for ambitious people who strive for continuous growth.- If you have a strong desire to learn, develop new technical skills and strive for continuous improvement.- If you are ready for frequent and long business trips and work at sea (rotation in offshore zones). Our base in Slovenia requires high logistical flexibility.- If you have basic comprehension of English language for effective technical communication in an international team.- If you have analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate data and overcome technical challenges.- If you are familiar with a personal computer and know how to use it.- If you are independent, responsible and strive for teamwork.Desirable Skills (Significant Assets):While not mandatory, candidates possessing the following will be highly regarded:- Any experience in marine surveying, hydrography, or offshore geophysics is considered a significant plus.- Knowledge and practical experience with specialized software, including: - EIVA Suite (NaviModel, NaviEdit, NaviScan); - Fugro Starfix®; - Qinsy and Qimera; - AutoCAD (or equivalent software).- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages to optimize data workflows.- Experience operating a wide range of offshore data acquisition equipment.This is an ongoing recruitment process — applications are reviewed continuously.Ready to Dive In?Join our team based on experience, knowledge and mutual support.
