Job Description

Department: MISLocation: City of Industry, CACompensation: $28. 00 - $32. 00 / hourDescriptioniBUYPOWER is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive IT Specialist to support our growing infrastructure and deployment needs. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of hands-on IT experience, with strong skills in Windows Deployment Services (WDS), Windows OS imaging, and networking. This role is critical to ensuring smooth system rollouts, efficient IT operations, and end-user support across the organization. Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, manage, and maintain Windows Deployment Services (WDS) for image-based system deployments. Create, configure, and optimize Windows OS images for automated deployment.

Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Assist with Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GPO) configurations and troubleshooting. Support the provisioning and rollout of new workstations and user environments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Windows-based systems (workstations and servers). Maintain documentation related to system deployment, imaging, and IT procedures. Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, switches, firewalls, and endpoint devices. Assist with system upgrades, patch management, and security hardening tasks. Support end-users with system access, software setup, and account configuration. Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Minimum of 1 year of IT support or system deployment experience. Experience with WDS, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), and OS imaging processes. Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, and Windows Server 2016/2019/2022. Familiarity with PXE booting, Sysprep, and image customization tools. Working knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and domain environments. Proficiency with disk imaging tools such as Acronis, Clonezilla, or SCCM. Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, subnetting, DHCP, DNS). Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to manage tasks independently and collaborate with IT team members. Preferred: experience with PowerShell scripting, Azure/Intune/Autopilot, and endpoint protection best practices.

If hired, must provide proof of full vaccination on start date, unless prohibited by federal, state, or local law. Full vaccination means receiving the second dose in a two-dose series (i. e. Pfizer, Moderna), or a single-dose vaccine (i. e J&J). Examples of proof of full vaccination include an original, photocopied, or digitally completed vaccination card that includes name, type of vaccine provided, and date of last dose administered.
