Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client has a requirement for a suitably skilled ICT Integration Support Officer, working mostly remote, the successful candidate would need to be able to attend meetings in Dublin when required.This is a temporary position; the initial contract duration is for 12 months with the possibility of extension thereafter.Based off a 35-hour work week the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €31.39 based off an annualised salary of €57,325 and will accrue 30 days’ annual leave per year along with public holidays.Background & Scope:The project aims to build on the successful implementation at the initial site. This initiative seeks to standardise processes, enhance interoperability, and provide a single integrated record accessible across all targeted sites.The primary strategic objective of the phase 2 project is a rapid deployment of within Regional Areas Dublin Midlands & Dublin Northeast by year end 2026 using a rapid & agile deployment model.The Phase 2 Project will directly support development of the national Electronic Health Care Record and aligns with national strategiesKey objectives include:Engaging with Oracle Health and local site teams to finalise deployment plans, ensuring alignment with strategies.Delivering a seamless transition at Wave 1 and Wave 2 sites through robust planning, staff training, and stakeholder engagement.Achieving measurable benefits such as reduced test turnaround times, improved clinician access to results, and enhanced compliance with ISO15189 standards.Role and responsibilities:Working as part of the Function, ICT Integration Support are expected to assist in the management and delivery of all integration elements as part of the deployment; from initial scoping and planning stages to go-live and onwards, in accordance with the standards, tools and methodologies of the PMO.ICT Integration Support will be expected to report through the primary channels of their relevant workstream.ICT Integration Support may be allocated to a portfolio of aligned integration projects. This is to ensure efficient use and maximisation of resource expertise and availability for the duration of the contract.Skills and experience:Experience delivering on the system integration requirements for projects/programmes including Interface testing planning & tracking.A good knowledge, understanding and commitment to the use of health interoperability standards such as HL7 (V2,V3), FHIRExperience dealing with 3rd parties and vendorsKnowledge of Integration and interoperability national and international standardsExperience with data architecture and application architectureHighly competent in use of standard software tools such as Microsoft office etc, particularly MS Excel.Experience of working in or with a healthcare setting advantageous, but not essential.Business competencies:Displays sufficient leadership, communication and interpersonal skills including liaising with multiple stakeholdersDemonstrate experience in working collaboratively with stakeholders and partners to ensure that the impact of projects are maximisedDemonstrate an understand and experience of Agile & Iterative project methodologyQuick learner and an ability to quickly build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders.Good ICT, presentation and report writing skills.Ability to work with the other ICT units to ensure that ICT projects are delivered in a cohesive and planned manner.Demonstrates evidence of operational management skills including managing own work and that of others, delegating appropriately within the resources available.Demonstrate ability to implement and manage change and business process re-organisation skills.Displays a commitment to achieving quality results including experience in evaluating the provision of services.Demonstrates an ability to perform various business analysis activities as deemed necessary for the project.Demonstrates good problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.Self-starter with a demonstrable willingness to take on responsibility*This position may be subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance, if applicable you will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role*Unijobs is an equal opportunities employer
