Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for an ICT Support Officer. There are positions available in office based both in Sligo and Drogheda.The successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee working 35 hours per week.This position is also a temporary contract, initially for 12 months with the possibility of extension thereafter.The salary on offer for this position is €35,609 (€19.50 per hour). You will also accrue 28 days annual leave per annum and be paid bank holidays.Details of service:The Executive Support Team is responsible for providing technical support to senior executives, provisioning and delivering IT equipment to new Technology and Transformation staff, vendor database administration and office accommodation commissioning.This office responsible for the delivery of technology to support teams across Ireland. This team is also responsible for turning operational delivery model within Technology & Transformation into a reality ensuring that technology supports healthcare efficiently and effectively throughout the whole system.The core of the operational delivery model is to bring improved population wellbeing, health service efficiencies and economic opportunity through the use of technology enabled healthcare provision.Purpose of the post:The ICT Support Officer will provide a key role in supporting the Executive Support Team in Technology & Transformation as part of the wider business operations team. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the security and integrity of our systems and data.Responsibilities may include, but are not restricted to:AdministrationEnsure the efficient day-to-day administration of area of responsibilityEnsure deadlines are met and that service levels are maintainedSupport the preparation and issuing of office documentation (correspondence, reports, etc.) to the highest possible standard by monitoring and reviewing team work to ensure quality and accuracyUse appropriate technology to ensure work is completed to a high standardEnsure that archives and records are accurate and readily availableMaintain confidentiality of documentation, records, etc.Ensure line management is kept informed of issuesOrganise and attend meetings as requiredTake minutes at meetings and prepare for circulation following meetingSupport, promote and actively participate in sustainable energy, water and waste initiatives to create a more sustainable, low carbon and efficient health serviceCustomer ServicePromote and maintain a customer focused environment including monitoring efficiency of service provided by the team and notifying supervisor of any deficienciesEnsure that service users are treated with dignity and respectAct on feedback from service users/customers and report same to supervisor Service delivery and improvementImplement agreed changes to administration of the serviceEncourage and support staff through change processesStandards, policies, procedures & legislationMaintain own knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and practices, to perform the role effectively and to ensure current work standards are met by own teamExperience:Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in an office, HR or project support environmentMust demonstrate experience of having an excellent working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office suite and report writingHaving experience in the following applications would be an advantage and experience should be demonstrated:MS Office 365 Suite of software including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.Webex, Sharepoint, SharefileDemonstrate good problem solving, analytical and decision-making skillsDemonstrate evidence of production of quality deliverablesDemonstrate understanding of Irish Healthcare systemBusiness Competencies:Excellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent teamwork and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to organise work with an organised mannerSelf-starter with a willingness to take responsibilityThe ability to interact with key stakeholders in a professional mannerReporting:Supports the creation, collating and provision of reports to management regarding the performance of the areasAssist with Programme Reporting and metricsAssist with Governance and compliance measures with policies and regulations*This position may be subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance, if applicable you will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role*Unijobs is an equal opportunities employer
