IELTS and SAT Teacher

Job Description:The IELTS/SAT Tutor is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and guidance to students preparing for the IELTS (Academic & General Training) and SAT tests. The role focuses on helping learners improve their English skills, understand the test format, and achieve their target scores through engaging, structured, and effective lessons.Main Responsibilities:Teaching & Lesson DeliveryPlan and deliver IELTS preparation classes (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking).Plan and deliver SAT preparation classes (Verbal and Math).Design lessons and practice materials aligned with IELTS/SAT standards.Conduct regular mock tests and provide detailed feedback and score/band analysis.Adjust teaching methods based on students’ proficiency and progress.Student Support & AssessmentTrack student performance and provide individualized guidance.Motivate students to reach their target IELTS and SAT scores.Offer academic counseling and tips for test-taking strategies.Curriculum Development & ImprovementCollaborate with the academic team to enhance teaching materials and methods.Stay updated with the latest IELTS and SAT trends and test updates.Professionalism & AdministrationMaintain attendance records, student reports, and class documentation.Participate in teacher meetings, workshops, and professional training.Represent the institution positively in all academic and promotional activities.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in English Education, English Literature, Linguistics, or a related field.Minimum 2 years of experience teaching IELTS or Academic English.Excellent command of English — IELTS Band 7.0 or higher (or equivalent TOEFL iBT 110+).Deep understanding of IELTS/SAT test structure, scoring, and strategies.Skilled in classroom management and interactive teaching (offline & online).Proficient with digital tools (Zoom, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards, etc.).Preferred Qualifications:CELTA, TESOL, or TEFL certification.Experience teaching international students or working in a language academy.Ability to conduct IELTS simulation tests and provide scoring feedback.Personal Attributes:Passionate about teaching and student success.Clear communicator with positive energy and professionalism.Organized, adaptable, and target-driven.Committed to continuous learning and improvement.📩 Apply by sending your CV to: hrd@magentalanguage.com
