In-House Service Technician

Company DescriptionAnton Paar will establish a new wholly-owned subsidiary in Santiago de Chile starting in January 2026. Therefore, we are looking for someone to join our team as In-House Service Technician.The In-House Service Technician is responsible to provide expert technical support, repair, and calibration services while ensuring customer satisfaction.Job DescriptionProviding technical support to customers via telephone and email.Deliver outstanding repair, maintenance, and calibration services.Diagnose and resolve technical issues, maintaining strong client relationships.Prepare estimates for the cost of repairPlan and document all repair and maintenance activities independently.Performing factory calibrations (ISO 17025, if required).Taking responsibility for personal warehouse / stock.Forwarding sales opportunities to Sales Representatives when instruments need to be replaced.Attending all necessary Anton Paar service trainings for the relevant product lines.QualificationsTechnical degree in Electronics or Mechanics, Physics or another technical discipline. Bachelor degree and/or engineering degree in the related areas are a plus. Some hands-on experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex analytical instruments.Proficiency in English is essential.Strong communication and customer service skills.Direct experience with analytical instruments is advantageous.Highly motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.Proficient in reading electronic schematics, using test equipment, and performing tool-based repairs.Must maintain a valid driver's license and passport.Occasional customer on-site visits for diagnosis and repairs.Additional InformationAnton Paar Chile offers you a unique and rewarding position within an innovative and growing company.
