Position OverviewThe Inclusion Support Learning Coach provides tailored academic support for students from KG–12 through targeted interventions and individualized learning plans. This position collaborates closely with leadership, learning coaches, families, and external specialists to ensure an inclusive and effective learning environment. The role also supports placement assessments, participates in student support meetings, and upholds academic integrity while assisting with broader learning-coach duties as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesPlays an essential role within the iCademy Middle East Inclusion Support Team.Provides academic support for students KG-12 through pull-in and pull-out sessions.Under the direction of the Knowledge Hub Director/Head of Inclusion, responsible for implementing programs and interventions to assist “Students of Determination” and other students with learning, behavioral, and/or physical special education needs at the Knowledge Hub.Collaborates with all stakeholders including iCademy Middle East Senior Leadership Team, Knowledge Hub learning coaches, parents/guardians, and external providers as necessary, to ensure an optimal learning environment for students.Assists with placement assessments for incoming students as necessary.Develops Individual Learning Plans for students in collaboration with the other relevant stakeholders.In cooperation with the Inclusion Team and course teachers, makes accommodations as specified within the Individual Learning PlanParticipates in Student Support Team meetings as required.Helps guide students through the curriculum for assigned grade levels, monitors progress, attendance, and grades. Develops or finds additional learning resources as necessary.Encourage students to attend Live Teaching and Live Help sessions for online courses.Regularly liaises with parents or guardians regarding progress, attendance, and grades.Actively participate in scheduled conferences with course teachers, academic advisors, and parents or guardians.Covers as grade specific Learning Coach as needed.Ensures that Academic Integrity policies and procedures are followed.Check school emails a minimum of two times daily.Perform other duties as assigned.Role RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).Formal training or certification in special education, learning support, or inclusive educationTEFL/TESOL/CELTA CertificationValid Teaching Qualification / LicenseMinimum 5 years of experience working and teaching pupils with special educational needs and ESL / ELL students (in KG-12 setting)Experience developing and implementing Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) or similar student support documentsHigh level of English proficiency both written and Familiarity with online or blended learning environmentExperience tutoring or supporting student learningStrong instructional and interpersonal skillsCompetency with educational technology platforms or willingness to learn new toolsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Commitment to culturally responsive and inclusive teaching practices. Working ConditionsSchool-based position with regular classroom visitsCollaboration with teachers, administrators, and support staff requiredMay include occasional after-school professional development sessions or meetings
