Job Description for Informatica Solution Architect:Role Summary : own the end-to-end data integration and governance architecture on the Informatica stack (IDMC/IICS, PowerCenter, MDM/360, Data Quality, EDC/Axon). Translate business needs into secure, scalable blueprints and guide delivery teams through build, performance, and release. Key Responsibilities: Lead solution design for batch/real-time pipelines, CDC, API integrations, and data governance workflows on Informatica. Define reference architectures, integration patterns, and standards across environments (Dev/Test/Prod). Drive migrations (e.g., PowerCenter → IDMC/IICS) and modernize workloads to cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake/Databricks/Azure/AWS/GCP). Partner with data governance/privacy teams to embed data quality, lineage, and access controls (EDC/Axon, IDQ). Perform sizing/capacity planning; guide HA/DR strategy, security (SSO, RBAC, encryption), and network design. Review designs, conduct design walkthroughs, and provide technical leadership to engineers and admins. Own non-functional requirements: reliability, performance, cost, observability, and supportability. . Required Skills: 5–7 years designing and delivering data integration solutions with Informatica (IICS/IDMC and/or PowerCenter). Excellent stakeholder management; ability to create architecture docs and present trade-offs. Strong data modelling, SQL, and performance tuning; hands-on with CDC, Kafka/streaming, REST APIs. Proven cloud experience (one major cloud) and a modern warehouse/lake (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse).
