If yes — this opportunity is tailor-made for you.We’re looking for a skilled IT Auditor to join our clients team in Cape Town, where you will play a key role in strengthening their technology governance, security posture, and risk management maturity.🔍 ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:• Conduct independent IT risk assessments and identify high-risk areas needing assurance.• Perform IT audits across data integrity, security, systems development, governance, and more — guided by a risk-based audit plan.• Execute pre- and post-implementation reviews for new systems or enhancements.• Review key IT policies and processes including change management, BCP/DR, and information security.• Evaluate application controls and IT general controls, ensuring compliance.• Perform systems development audits and application audits to confirm reliability, security, and efficiency.• Conduct IT security audits, testing vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.• Assess cloud maturity and governance against policy and best practice.• Deliver clear, objective, evidence-based internal audit reports that influence key business decisions.🧠 Requirements for this role• Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Information Security, or similar.• 4+ years’ IT auditing experience, ideally within eCommerce.• Strong understanding of IT audit methodologies, standards, and frameworks.• Knowledge across software development, operating systems, network security, databases, and information security.• Experience in cybersecurity, IT risk, and control principles.• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.🌟 Nice-to-Have Skills• ISO Certification (e.g., ISO 27001).• Experience using audit software.• Basic finance/accounting knowledge.• Background in customer retention strategies.
