Information Technology Engineer

Job Title: IT Engineer Location: Sydney, NSW, AustraliaEmployment Type: Full-Time Salary $80-100k + superIf you already hold an NV1 or Baseline Clearance you will be fast tracked.About the Role:We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Engineer to support the provisioning and maintenance of IT systems and solutions for a high-profile government client. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with 0–2 years of experience who are passionate about technology and eager to grow in a dynamic environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide IT support including troubleshooting issues related to training systems, mobile devices, and equipment.Install and manage software, firmware patches, and virtual machines.Configure network parameters and firewall settings for servers and mobile devices.Provision and manage mobile devices and Standard Operating Environments.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.Automate processes using batch files/scripts.Deliver Help Desk and onsite support services, including occasional travel.Facilitate training sessions for internal and external users.Required Skills and Experience:Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Android operating systems.Familiarity with virtual machines, network servers, firewalls, and process automation.Experience in IT engineering or technical support.Understanding of security standards such as ISO-27001 and ISM.Experience in DevSecOps is a plus.Strong communication and documentation skills.Eligibility Requirements:Must be an Australian citizen.Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Security NV1 Clearance.
