Project Coordinator – IT ProjectsLocation: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days per week on-site)Language: Fluent in English, both written and spokenDuration: 12-month contractAbout the OpportunityAre you an organized, detail-oriented professional who thrives on keeping IT projects on track? In this role, you’ll join a collaborative team supporting multiple IT initiatives, coordinating every stage of the project lifecycle from planning to delivery. You’ll work closely with project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure projects meet objectives on time and within scope.This is a hands-on position within a dynamic corporate environment, where your contributions will help streamline project delivery, enhance reporting, and ensure effective communication across teams. This role offers a chance to contribute to meaningful projects, develop stakeholder management expertise, and grow your portfolio in a supportive environment.Your ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you’ll:Coordinate IT projects across all stages of the project lifecycle, adhering to project charters, risk and issue management plans, schedules, and financial plans.Prepare, draft, and maintain key project management documents, including project charters, statements of work, work breakdown structures, risk and scope documents, resource plans, schedules, and procurement documentation (RFI/RFQ/RFP).Support a shared project management environment using collaborative tools such as Microsoft Enterprise Project Management (EPM).Organize meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and maintain risk/issue logs and document control.Provide operational and administrative support, including resource allocation tracking, workflow management, and liaison with vendors and clients.Coordinate onboarding and training sessions for team members and ensure smooth project logistics.Present updates and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels, supervising and coaching internal business and technical team members when required.Skills and Qualifications5+ years of experience coordinating IT projects across all stages of the project lifecycle.Proven experience preparing and managing project documentation (WBS, risk management, scope, resource plans, project schedules).Familiarity with collaborative project management tools and Microsoft Project; experience with EPM is an asset.Strong interpersonal skills with experience presenting and negotiating with stakeholders.Demonstrated experience in supervising, mentoring, and motivating teams in a matrix-based environment.Experience with procurement processes, project cost control, and vendor agreements.Project management certification such as CAPM or PMP is an asset.Why Partner with AltisIf you’ve never worked with a staffing agency before, we make it easy.
