Information Technology Project Manager

Our client is looking for an IT Project Manager to join their team. This is a daily rate contract role based in Dublin. Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning, monitoring, and delivery of IT projects across infrastructure, applications, and digital transformation domains.Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.Develop and maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and communication plans.Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.Facilitate workshops, stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and project review meetings.Manage project budgets and track actuals versus forecast throughout the project lifecycle.Support change management, training, and transition-to-operations activities to ensure successful implementation and adoption.Required Skills & Experience:Proven track record managing IT-focused projects within medium to large-scale organisations.Strong understanding of IT systems, cloud technologies, software development lifecycles, and infrastructure components.Excellent project planning and organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).Ability to translate technical requirements into clear project deliverables and actions.Experience managing vendors, external partners, and outsourced teams.Knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance best practices.Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent.
