IT Support SpecialistContract – 12-Month Contract (with potential for extension)Location: Vancouver BC About CompanyA global streaming platform offering a vast library of movies, TV shows, documentaries, and mobile games across multiple genres and languages.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a hands-on and reliable IT Support Specialist for a full-time, onsite role in Vancouver Canada. This individual will be the primary point of contact for all IT-related needs at the local office, supporting both end-user devices and facility infrastructure. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, organized, and capable of balancing routine support tasks with special IT projects.What you’ll be responsible forProviding end-user hardware and software support for company-issued devices (laptops, desktops, tablets, peripherals)Managing mobile devices and associated service linesCoordinating with facilities and external vendors during scheduled maintenance or infrastructure-related issuesLogging, escalating, and tracking issues as needed with internal IT stakeholdersIssuing and collecting IT equipment using asset inventory systemsMaintaining accurate records of IT assetsActing as the onsite IT presence during core hours for real-time troubleshootingSupporting office moves, pilot programs, and system migrations under project lead directionRequired Experience/Skills1-2 years of experience in desktop support or IT operationsStrong troubleshooting skills across hardware and softwareExperience with asset management and inventory toolsExcellent communication and coordination skillsAbility to work independently while maintaining alignment with remote IT teamsNice-to-HavesExperience supporting mobile device management platformsPrevious work with cross-functional teams and vendors in an office/facilities environmentEducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferredPay & Benefits Summary$18-20/hour T4Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week (9am–6pm or 10am–7pm)Background check required (no drug test needed)Apply Now or Begin your Interview Now!Video Interview HereIT Support, Desktop Support, Onsite IT, Asset Management, Hardware Support, Facility IT Support, Vancouver Tech Jobs
