What Awaits YouProvide operational support, track update and resolve all assigned tasks in JIra, ensuring that documentation is thorough, accurate and meets a standard of high quality Proactively monitor, recognize, analyze, isolate and/or resolve documented hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware and software testing tools and techniques Perform deployment and maintenance of industrial devices, analysis and reporting tools Deliver remote planned maintenance activities in line with the Maintenance Schedule, following documented processes and procedures, including roll back Manage patch management processes and support remote systems Utilize Deployment Scripting Solution and automation Create and maintain documentation as it relates to hardware, network and system configuration, mapping, and processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and quality assurance, to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity Oversee/perform new and existing equipment, hardware and software upgrades and reports Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation (if necessary) What Should You Bring AlongBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or a related field Minimum 1-3 years of experience in an IT Infrastructure / Networking management role Experience with device management tools and platforms, SOTI or equivalent platforms Basic networking principle & analytic skills Collaboration and customer service skills Technical experience with Linux, Windows (including administration of clients with Windows AD and GPOs) Familiarity with the creation of desktop images/deployment process, Hardware such as servers, networks, storage etc., Knowledge of ITIL processes and experience Experience in the automotive industry is nice to have Familiarity with Jira and Confluence English and German verbal and written skills What do we offer?Challenging projects with which we are shaping the mobility of tomorrowGreat team spirit within an international teamState-of-the-art global IT landscape and processes100% implementation of the Agile Working Model methodologyWide range of personal & professional development opportunitiesHigh level of job securityWork-Life-Balance and flexible working hoursAttractive and performance-related remunerationDynamic and highly-motivating work environmentAt BMW TechWorks Romania, we view diversity and inclusion in all its forms as a cornerstone of our team's strength.
