Reporting to the Life Science Business Manager, you will be responsible for the sales and promotion of the company’s range of leading brands to select Life Science accounts.To be successful you will ideally have a science background with research experience in cell biology. You will have excellent communication and presentation skills, be self-motivated and confident with the ability to close a sale. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage inbound sales enquiries from prospective and existing clients in the Life Science sectorPrepare and follow up on quotes, addressing customer questions and objections to convert leads into salesBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive and responsive communicationRepresent the world's largest cell bank to clients across Australia, educating and engaging them on available productsUndertake courtesy and targeted outbound calls during quieter, seasonal periodsContribute to ad-hoc sales initiatives and projects as needed to support business goals Support Marketing initiativesABOUT YOUTertiary qualification with Honours or Master's in Life Science, with a completed research projectMinimum 1 year of laboratory-based research experience, ideally in Cell Biology, Immunology, or Translational ResearchPrevious sales experience in the Life Science or biotech industry is desirablePassion for delivering exceptional customer service and building trust with clientsStrong technical aptitude with a genuine interest in learning new products and technologiesCommercially minded with the initiative to identify and act on business opportunitiesComfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting prioritiesKnowledge of the NZ Life Science and biotech landscape highly regarded BENEFITSContribute to shaping the future of the healthcare and biotechnology sectorsInnovative Product Portfolio – represent world-class brandsInvestment in your professional development and career progression Work alongside industry experts in a collaborative, inclusive, and knowledge-driven settingExcellent salary structure with bonusNEXT STEPS:Feel like this could be you?
