The company is headquartered in Philadelphia, PA, and employs more than 5,500 people worldwide.We are a team that celebrates our unique diversity and close-knit community atmosphere.Our core values begin at the very top and span the broad reach of our global community.We offer dynamic careers for those individuals looking to be a part of something bigger and provide unequivocal opportunities for growth within the organization.PSA BDP serves over 5,000 customers, including some of the world's leading multinational companies within the chemical, retail & consumer, life sciences & pharmaceuticals, and electric vehicle & industrial verticals.SummaryThis office-based position provides essential support to the sales team, facilitating critical connections with suppliers, optimizing pricing, and preparing compelling offers for customers.This person is located in the office and supports the sales team to connect with suppliers, gets the best prices and submit offers to customers.Key ResponsibilitiesClient & Supplier Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers and suppliers to ensure optimal service and pricing.Customer Portfolio Growth: Actively grow the customer base by creating new portfolios and enhancing existing client relationships.Sales Enablement: Support the sales team by organizing customer visits and providing necessary resources.Pricing & Offers: Research and communicate with suppliers to secure the best prices based on customer needs, then accurately prepare and submit offers.Operational Compliance: Process shipping orders, provide required pricing, and strictly adhere to PSA BDP's internal procedures for offer preparation and document filing.Profitability & Collections: Prioritize maintaining high profit margins and ensure the quickest possible collection of payments, proactively preventing economic damage related to customer situations.Performance Tracking: Prepare sales and marketing reports for management, and consistently fix 15+ appointments per week.Customer Feedback & Problem Solving: Obtain customer feedback and actively assist in resolving their issues.Continuous Improvement: Participate in department meetings and relevant trainings.Compliance & Quality: Operate in full compliance with Quality Management System requirements and strictly adhere to Information Assurance policies, ensuring direct reports also complyJob RequirementsExperience: Minimum of 2 years in sales support or telemarketing within a freight forwarding company.Language: Fluent in English (written and verbal); proficiency in other languages is an advantage.Computer Skills: Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
