QA testers are responsible for identifying, reporting and resolving defects, bugs and other issues during the stages of software development and deployment. Overall, the role of a QA tester is critical in ensuring that software or products are reliable, high-quality, and meet our user expectations.
Key ResponsibilitiesReviewing and analyzing system specificationsExecuting test cases (manual or automated) and analyzing resultsCreating logs to document testing phases and defectsReporting bugs and errors to development teamsHelping troubleshoot issuesConducting pre-release/post-implementation testingWorking with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecyclePerforming stress, functional, and scalability testingMonitoring applications and software systemsProviding objective feedback to software development project teamsKey QualificationsBSc in Computer Science or in a related field1-3 years of experience as a tester or similar roleCertification in Software Testing is a plusStrong preference for candidates with some experience in automation testing for mobile apps and backend servicesHands-on experience with test automation tools such as Appium, Postman, or similar frameworks (to be able to build and maintain automated regression suites) will be considered as a plusWhat you will bringExcellent communication skills; the ability to convey your message to other team members in a clear and concise wayStrong ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with attention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, break them down into manageable parts, and develop creative, effective solutions under pressureEnjoy working as a team member, as well as independentlyProficient technical skills and understandingDemonstrated ability to quickly adjust to changing project requirements and new technologies, ensuring continuous learning and innovation
