Intercompany Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION Role Title: Junior OR Accountant R2R ( Intercompany Reconciliation ) (Provided basis exp.)Reports to: Sr. Accountant R2RRole Type: Individual ContributorLocation: Chapekar Chowk, Chinchwad, Pune Purpose of the role:The role is responsible for accounting tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of record to report transactions for an assigned entity/ geography.Your day-to-day work/ Key Responsibilities:General Ledger Management: Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of the GL, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.Intercompany: Perform reconciliation of Intercompany transactions of ISEA Entities and take necessary steps to clear the differences. Reconcile and identify Goods in transit and take necessary entries in the booksFinancial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports and schedules (like AP/AR, other receivable/Payable etc), Related Party disclosure for Notes to Accounts and monthly basis variance analysis within due date and with high accuracy.Reconciliation: Timely preparation of balance sheet reconciliations of GL accounts, Identifying reconciling items and its clearance with accuracy.Internal Control: Make sure all applicable internal controls are followed for all processes.Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting principles, standards, and regulations.Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, explanations, and reconciliations.Co-ordination with business stakeholder and other team members: Get in touch with business stakeholders and provide the requirement on timely basis for decision making. Further need to have communication with O2C team and P2P team to sort out various issue related to GL accounts and to improve the processes.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve financial processes and controls, proposing and implementing efficient solutions to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and data integrity.Academic & Work Profile:B.Com / M.Com. / MBA / CA or CMA - Inter with 5-9 yrs. exp. in accountingRelevant Experience/ Knowledge in reputed Captive/Outsourcing RTR Ops.Good Written/Verbal CommunicationExcel Knowledge.Work in Intercompany departments will be additional advantageStakeholder Management experienceQuality Lean/Process Improvement knowledgeNote - “Immediate joiners will be given first preference.”Candidate should be available for an Interview ( Teams OR F2F)
