Sales Manager – Banqueting & CateringLocation: MumbaiRole Overview:The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive banquet sales and catering business development within a luxury 5-star hotel environment. This role requires strong client engagement, relationship management, and strategic sales execution to maximize banquet and catering bookings.Key Responsibilities:Proactively identify and pursue new banquet and catering sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets.Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, event organizers, and other key stakeholders.Coordinate with operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution of events and high client satisfaction.Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and contracts; negotiate terms to close business effectively.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies.Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and enhance brand presence.Maintain accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to track performance and growth.Attend industry events and networking functions to build business pipelines.Ensure up-selling and cross-selling opportunities are maximized during client interactions.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Sales, Marketing, or related field.5+ years of proven experience in banquet sales within five-star hotel environments, preferably in Mumbai.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong customer focus with the ability to handle high-value clientele.Familiarity with event management software and CRM tools is a plus.
