Interior Designer

Connexa Recruitment are working in partnership with an award-winning International Architectural Design practice who are looking for an Interior Designer in there Dubai office.Job Summary:We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to plan, design, and furnish interior spaces that are functional, aesthetically appealing, and aligned with clients’ needs. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, proficiency in design software, and the ability to manage projects from concept through completion.Key Responsibilities:Meet with clients to understand their goals, budget, and preferences.Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentations to communicate ideas.Create detailed drawings, floor plans, and 3D renderings using CAD and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit).Select materials, furniture, lighting, and color schemes to achieve desired ambiance and functionality.Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure project execution aligns with design intent.Prepare cost estimates and project timelines.Oversee installation and final styling of interior spaces.Stay updated on design trends, sustainability practices, and building codes.Ensure compliance with safety, accessibility, and regulatory standards.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.Proven experience (2–5 years or more) in residential, commercial, or hospitality interior design.Proficiency in design and rendering software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).Strong understanding of materials, lighting, color theory, and spatial planning.Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.Ability to work collaboratively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.Preferred Skills:Knowledge of sustainable and ergonomic design principles.Experience with budgeting and procurement.Work Environment:Office-based with site visits as required.May involve occasional travel for client meetings or project installations.
