Intermediate Business Systems Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support our client in the oil & gas sector. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs), and technical teams to ensure successful delivery of system integrations and business processes. The successful candidate will be in Calgary and be able to be in the downtown office from time to time.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunicate effectively with stakeholders, including SMEs, technical teams, and business testers.Analyze and document system integrations and process workflows using diagrams and technical documentation.Develop and maintain Test Strategy, Test Plans, and Test Cases.Execute software and interface testing to validate functionality and performance.Gather and document business requirements and application processes.Understand and map data flows and data transformations across systems.Create and execute SQL queries for data validation and analysis.Utilize technical tools such as SQL, Excel, and Visio for analysis and reporting.Nice to HaveExperience with automated test creation and execution.Familiarity with automation and reporting platforms such as Power BI, Denodo, and SAP BODS.QualificationsProven experience as a Business Systems Analyst in complex enterprise environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
