About The RoleHW Engineer in the HW/ME team within the Advanced Innovation Team in EPIC, Car audio, Automotive.Your responsibilities include design, construction, building and testing of hardware modules/platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and documenting design specifications. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a team are crucial skills for success in this role.You will design HW platforms for any EPIC Advanced Innovation concept / Prototype creation, which have a need for controlling illuminated elements, moving mechanics, interfacing, sensing, connecting or any other module functionality.Participates in specification reviews and work with project teams on concept architecture and system block diagrams.Perform the holistic concept and detailed HW design for controlling modules, including embedded SW.You can transform a scope of work into practical work package and quality designed products.What You Will DoExplore new UeX ideas and products for Harman Automotive. Perform Advanced Innovation projects in EPIC. Evaluate project scope of work within your field of expertise. Do HW architecture and design/build modules for Experience elements. Coordinate interfaces and work across relevant Harman functions. Track and Report work package progress and maturity to management team. Do reviews with peers and stakeholders to ensure HW engineering ‘Best Practices’. Provide documentation of HW controller platforms used by EPIC Automotive. What You NeedAn ended 4th semester bachelor University education with a passed examination. A solid foundation in HW engineering principles, development tools and relevant technical knowledge Knowledge on uP and embedded SW Strong collaboration skills.
