Intern, Electronic Trading - Institutional Business

These include corporate finance & advisory, navigating debt and equity capital markets, derivatives trading, brokerage and research for both retail and institutional investors, and prime brokerage.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the team in provide connectivity and solutioning support to institutional clients trading into regional cash equities markets.Assist with prospecting activities and liaising with industry partners to help identify potential new institutional business opportunities.Provide DMA supervision, trading and operational support.Deliver daily client servicing, risk and client exposure monitoring.Vendor liaison, outage management and trade reconciliation support.Collaborate with internal support units to resolve client queries or develop new product/service offerings.Work closely with technology, finance, middle office and back office operations to eliminate post trade issues.Coordinate with client services, legal and compliance departments for client onboarding, KYC procedures and other ad-hoc tasks.Prepare internal reports to facilitate strategic business planning.Perform and assist with UAT sessions for any client system or trading system changes.Reconcile monthly costs and prepare invoices to clients.Coordinate closely with internal departments to fulfill client requests.RequirementsRecent graduate or final year undergrad in related fields.A full time commitment period of 6 months.A strong sense of ownership and responsibility.Fast learner, possessing the willingness to learn and a can do attitude.Meticulous and good with numbers.Comfortable with change, ambiguity, debate, conflict and informed risk taking.Multi-tasker who can manage multiple streams of work concurrently.Strong team player with entrepreneurial instincts.Please indicate your availability for the internship in your resume in the following format : from ddmmyyyy to ddmmyyyy.We regret that only short-listed candidates will be notified.
