Job Description

What The Role IsNAC's Marketing & Audience Development department advocates and amplifies the value and importance of the arts through various communications efforts. You will work closely with the whole of the Council and its parent Ministry to provide strategic counsel and support in the areas of marketing communications, to highlight the Council’s role as champion of the arts. You will also work with departments within the Council, and with external stakeholders to initiate, implement and manage marketing communications initiatives which are aligned with NAC’s mission, vision and strategic thrusts.What You Will Be Working OnCampaign ManagementSupport agency liaison for marketing campaignsAssist with NAC corporate site's social mediaGain experience in project implementation and audience engagementDigital ContentManage website content and maintenanceCurate NAC's monthly newsletterCreate content for staff events on social mediaCatch PlatformProvide Gen-Z perspective on TikTok contentReview Catch Creators' content and potential new creatorsAssist with community management and editorial proofreadingSkills DevelopmentMarketing strategy and implementationContent creation and storytellingStakeholder and community managementBrand representationWhat We Are Looking ForStudents pursuing a degree in Communications, Business, Marketing, or related fieldsAble to commit full-time for 6 months (January-June 2026)Strong desire to learn and professional driveExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace applicationsExperience with photo and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Canva, CapCut, Procreate, Lightroom)Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. R, Python, VBA) is a plus Fluent in English; other languages advantageous Team player with passion for the Arts preferred
