Internal Audit Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will oversee the internal audit function, ensure strong governance, and support continuous improvement across all business operations.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the annual internal audit plan in line with business risks and regulatory requirements.Lead financial, operational, and compliance audits across departments and business units.Evaluate internal controls, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks.Present audit findings and reports to senior management with clear action points.Follow up on corrective actions and assess implementation effectiveness.Support risk management activities and contribute to process enhancement initiatives.Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies when required.Provide advice on internal control best practices and governance standards.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or CISA preferred.Minimum 6–10 years of experience in internal audit, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.Strong knowledge of internal controls, risk management, and audit methodologies.Experience in ERP systems and data analysis tools is an advantage.Key SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and reporting skillsHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsLeadership capability and experience managing audit teamsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
