International Logistics Specialist - Japan / Tokyo

We are proud to be the preferred logistics partner of the life science industry and healthcare professionals for more than 4,000 companies worldwide.Overall missionThe International Logistics Specialist is responsible for organizing international shipments in line with temperature control requirements, Good Distribution Practices and the Group QA & EHS policies. He/she is accountable for the most appropriate transport solution in accordance with the CRYOPDP premium service offer and the customer's requirementsMain contributionProvide operational excellencePrepare a temperature control package (Conditioning of Temperature Controlled Packaging).Communication with customers/suppliers/Local vendor/other officesSCM workInbound/outbound work for TYO warehouse (Insuring compliance with Import & Export regulations - Customs)Inspection new coming items and stock items workActivate / Plan with the Driver for pickups or deliveriesRequest costing from the suppliers (ad-hoc shipments)Send quotation to the customers (ad-hoc shipments)Submit completed shipments documents to CRYOPDP offices, service partners and/or customs brokers(Insuring compliance with Import & Export regulations - Customs)Download Data Logger and send to the customerMonitoring of transportation with Temperature Controlled equipmentDeliver/Pick up on an ad-hoc basis to assist driversLiaise with CRYOPDP service partners for updates, costs, routing options, etc.Check all costing and documents before passing to Finance for billingEnsure the growth of retained customers to maximize / increase amount of business carried for every customer / Find new customersEnsure that all service failures & complaints are investigated and responded to as per CAPA process in place (both from external & internal customers)Showcase unique service features of CRYOPDP to increase value add solutions to customersRetain clients by providing the highest quality service to clients to satisfy or exceed their expectationsCollaborate with the sales department to develop new customersTrack KPIs and liaise with the Quality TeamOn time-in-full service performance %Number of temperature deviationsNumber of airline and customs delaysNumber of CAPAs (Corrective Action Preventive Action)Internal stakeholders and customers feedbackSpecificity on the job : The work schedule is 5 days a weekSkils RequiredProfile /experienceFresh graduate (BA degree in Supply chain) with 1 / 3 years’ experience in international logistics with a good understanding of Good Distribution Practices & Temperature Controlled solutions, and willingness to work within the Pharma / Healthcare industry.Organizational PositionManager’s Position JP General ManagerLocation Tokyo (Japan)Required SkillsProfile (experience/ education) Fresh graduate (BA degree in Supply chain) with 1 / 3 years’ experience in international logistics with a good understanding of Good Distribution Practices & Temperature Controlled solutions, and willingness to work within the Pharma / Healthcare industry.Language: Fluent in Japanese and good knowledge of EnglishSpecific Experience & Knowledge RequiredStrong knowledge of the institutional logistics and transportation at the local and international level (customs processes, incoterms…)Compliant with GDP, IATA guidelinesKnowledge in dangerous goods regulations, passenger and cargo airlines.Import / Export regulationsCommercial acumenQuality control, assurance related knowledgeInterpersonal Skills (“Essentials”)Customer centric with strong ability to creatively solve problems and “make it happen” mindsetExcellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and manage high workloads in challenging situations and meetings deadlinesExcellent communication skills (written & verbal)Strong desire to work in a company that has a mission to improve the health of people around the world.Attention to detailHigh levels of energy, sound judgment and determination to achieve with a sense of urgencyTeam PlayerStrong willingness to learn and to grow within the companyThank you!ありがとう
