About The RoleThe Analytics Engineer is a specialist role that bridges the gap between data engineering and business analytics. This role requires a deep understanding of both data infrastructure and business intelligence to create robust analytical models and reports that empower business analysts and business users with insights. ResponsibilitiesAs a member of the Medical Services Data and Analytics Team, you are responsible for designing and maintaining efficient, integrated data models and products. Blending business acumen with technical expertise, you will: Collect, process, and transform data from various sources using ETL/ELT techniques.
Design and implement optimized data models for analytics and reporting. Develop high-quality, insightful Power BI reports that drive business decisions. Write and optimize DAX measures to enhance report functionality and performance. Maintain clear data documentation and ensure transparency across the data pipeline. Key ResponsibilitiesData Warehouse/Lakehouse ManagementDevelop and manage data pipelines to bring data from multiple sources, including SQL databases, APIs, cloud storage, and third-party data sources into the lakehouse. Ensure data is transformed, cleaned, and structured effectively to support analytical use cases. Monitor and maintain data quality, integrity, and consistency across different pipelines and storage layers.
Optimize data ingestion and transformation processes for performance, scalability, and reliability. Data ModellingBuild visual representations of data and establish relationships between different data sources and systems. Model raw data into curated datasets that enable analytics across the company, serving as a central source of truth for business analysts and stakeholders. Develop optimized data models that enhance the efficiency and usability of Power BI reports. Power BI Development & Row-Level Security (RLS) ManagementDesign and develop high-quality, visually compelling Power BI reports that drive business insights and decision-making.
Implement and manage Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI to enforce appropriate access control and ensure that users see only the data relevant to their roles. Optimize DAX measures to enhance report functionality, efficiency, and performance. Ensure Power BI solutions align with best practices in data visualization, usability, and performance optimization. Knowledge And ExperienceRequired Work Experience3-5 years’ experience in similar technical role involving data and analyticsRequired QualificationsMinimum bachelor’s degree in science, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or another quantitative/technical fields.
Exposure to global multicultural environment, dealing with multiple contacts from different geographical locationsTechnical ExpertiseExpertise in Python, PySpark, SQLHigh-level of expertise in AWS/Azure, ETL/ELT, deployment tools, and MS Power Platform (Power BI, Power Query, Power Apps)A sound technical background with a high-level of hands-on skills in data engineering, machine learning, statistics, Data/ML Ops, report building and data analysis. Demonstrated experience in delivering solutions in multi-cloud, on-premise, and distributed environments in multiple geographical locations. A sound understanding of global business requirements.
