This role is hybrid, requiring on-site work up to four days a week. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Manager of Inventory Planning and will play a critical part in driving accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with overall inventory and procurement strategies.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform historical sales analysis & forecast future sales.Create and maintain purchase orders throughout the lifecycle to ensure accurate supply signals.Maintain inventory availability among distribution centers to meet sales requirements.Maintain various inventory projection models.Monitor and report key performance indicators, including forecast accuracy, fill rate, and inventory turnover.Communicate with vendors and various parties within the organization to ensure timely inventory replenishment and order fulfillment.Knowledge, Skills and QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in inventory planning and forecastingUniversity degree or diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or similarCandidates with ASCI/ASCM Certifications an asset.Strong computer competency with advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.Detail-oriented, well organized, and a proven ability to multi-task.Proficiency in EnglishCan work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team.Previous inventory planning and/or demand planning experience is essential.Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or StockIQ is an asset.Proficiency in analytical modeling and familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau will be considered a strong advantage.Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and planning conceptsComfortable collaborating remotely with global inventory, procurement, and sales teams across multiple regions and time zones.A reliable internet connection is required when working remotely.Strong problem-solving skills.Strong, proactive communication skills are critical for success in this role.The Peak Group of Companies is an equal opportunity employer.
