Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to join our dynamic team in the Food & Beverages industry. This vital role will ensure the accurate management of our inventory levels, helping to optimize efficiency and minimize waste throughout our supply chain. The purpose of this role is to ensure that physical stock counts align with system records, to investigate discrepancies, and to implement controls to minimize inventory variances and losses. By managing inventory accuracy and optimizing stock levels, the Inventory Controller helps support smooth production and order fulfillment while minimizing working capital tied up in stock.RESPONSIBILITIESMonitor and manage inventory levels across multiple locations and warehouses.Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.Coordinate with procurement and production teams to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends.Implement inventory tracking systems and technologies to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.Analyze inventory reports to identify trends, slow-moving items, and opportunities for improvement.Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies related to inventory management.Train and supervise junior inventory staff, providing guidance on best practices.Collaborate with logistics to optimize product storage and transportation.Strengthen inventory control by applying FIFO/FEFO principles, ensuring full batch and lot traceability, and enforcing accurate, system-based inventory transactions across all users.REQUIREMENTSBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory management or control, preferably in the Food & Beverages industry.Strong analytical skills with experience in inventory analysis and trend forecasting.Experience using ERP or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory; proficiency with Excel for data analysis and reconciliation.Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work with cross-functional teams.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in inventory management.
