Clouet in all supermarket chains, convenience stores, e-commerce platforms, general retail outlets and foodservice channels. In 2022, A. Clouet (Singapore) acquired Greyys, a premier servicing and distribution company with a strong focus on the hotel, restaurant, and café (HORECA) industry.We’re looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Controller to join our dynamic team in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory across our warehouses, optimizing stock levels, and ensuring product availability to meet customer demand. You'll play a pivotal role in keeping our operations agile, responsive, and cost-efficient.ResponsibilitiesPlan and monitor stock levels for 700 SKUs across two distribution companiesCollaborate with Sales & Marketing for stock forecastingAnalyze historical sales data, promotions, and seasonal trends to optimize stock planning and inventory levelsMaintain accurate records of inventory across warehouses and monitor stock levels to ensure stock availabilityMonitor service level/fulfilment rate to various customers and work on continuous improvementConduct stock reconciliations and physical audits to ensure stock accuracyEnsure product quality standards are met by monitoring expiry dates, damages, and returnsGenerate actionable inventory performance reports (turnover, aging, shrinkage) for managementTrack and report inventory write-offs and propose mitigation strategiesLiaise with 3PL partners to manage inventory transfer between warehouses efficientlyPrepare order proposals and coordinate with Procurement to ensure timely replenishment and delivery of stocksInterface with warehouse supervisors from 3PLs to drive operational excellence and FEFO complianceCollaborate with Data Analytics team to develop dashboards for inventory monitoring and controlRequirementsDegree / Diploma / Professional Certificate in Logistics/Inventory Management/Procurement or equivalent6-8 years of relevant experience; preferably in wholesale and distribution industryResponsible, meticulous, analytical and possess a high sense of urgency to meet deadlinesAbility to communicate and work well with others in a team environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills & able to multi-taskProficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot table, vlookup, etc)Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills
