Job Description

1. Experience & Background8–10 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management, preferably in the foodstuff/FMCG sector.Experience in managing multi-temperature storage (Ambient, Chiller, Frozen).Prior experience in FIFO/FEFO, batch and expiry management is a must. 2. EducationBachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.Certifications in Inventory Control, WMS systems are advantageous. 3. Functional SkillsStrong understanding of inventory control processes, stock accuracy, and reconciliation.Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms Ability to conduct cycle counts, stock audits, and root cause analysis. 4. Food Safety & ComplianceKnowledge of HACCP, food safety, and local municipality regulations.Experience handling expiry-sensitive stock and complying with cold chain standards. 5. Analytical & Operational SkillsStrong analytical skills in inventory forecasting, shrinkage control, and space utilization.Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies quickly and accurately.KPI monitoring – stock turnover, order accuracy, wastage control, etc. 6. Soft SkillsAttention to detail and problem-solving mindset.Excellent communication and coordination with warehouse, procurement, and sales teams.Strong team leadership and time management skills.
