We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Investment Analyst with a strong analytical skillset and of 1-2 years of experience in investment analysis, financial modelling or corporate finance. This role is ideal for someone with an economics or finance background who is eager to work across a diverse set of projects and contribute to the evaluation, diligence, and reporting processes that support our investment decision-making in various areas of DFG business. The Analyst will work closely with the Investment Management Group, supporting the full investment lifecycle—from initial research to due diligence and post-investment monitoring.
This position offers a unique opportunity to learn from experienced investors and play a meaningful role in a mission-driven, multi-sector investment platform. Job responsibilities: Conduct due diligence on Venture Capital investment opportunities by analysing industry trends, competitive landscapes, market sizing, developing detailed financial forecasts, etc. Develop and maintain financial models to support the evaluation of investment opportunities within the Hospitality and Real Estate sectors. Collect portfolio data to prepare comprehensive monthly and annual performance reports, including the evaluation of KPIs for the Venture Capital and Private Debt programs.
Support the external audit process by preparing and providing necessary financial calculations, such as fair value revaluations of portfolio companies and interest income computations for fixed-income instruments. Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the internal data warehouse and CRM system, ensuring the Venture Capital investment pipeline is consistently up-to-date.  Research, evaluate, and support the implementation of new AI-powered tools to enhance departmental workflow efficiency and analytical capabilities. Education and qualifications: String academical background, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related fieldKey knowledge and skills required for this position:
Preferably 1Â year of experience in investment analysis, with demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence. Experience must be from a fast-paced, analytical environment such as a Big Four transaction advisory group, PE/VC, in-house corporate finance team, investment bank, or a similar financial institution.
Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial modeling and data tools is a plusStrong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to structure and interpret complex data setsExcellent attention to detail and a “good eye” for identifying trends, anomalies, and meaningful signals in dataStrong verbal and written communication skills in English (fluency required)Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines with a high level of autonomyProactive, intellectually curious, and eager to learnWhat we offer:
