Investment Analysts - Renewables / CleanTech

Our client, a well regarded Investor in the broader Renewables and related Tech (Cleantech) sectors, is looking to add two Analysts to their team in SydneyThe Analyst plays an integral role in helping this platform achieve its strategic objective of reducing Australia’s global emissions.The Analysts will quantify and evaluate the risks and benefits of Investments across the platforms investment priorities, assessing financial, technical, operational and risk considerations.You will perform detailed financial and quantitative modelling and analysis of and related to the platform proposed projects and funding portfolio. The position will also include involvement in initial screening and approval processes for prospective funding and will include contributing to recommendations and papers, preparing and managing internal processes, client engagement and reporting.Desired Experience● Minimum 1-3 years experience in the finance industry (M&A/Transaction Advisory/ESG/Project Finance or direct Investments preferred● Experience and genuine interest in the renewable energy sector / Climate / Sustainability● Project/stakeholder management, Regulatory/ Environmental and Social appraisal experience● Excellent Excel modelling skills, technical knowledge of functions, experience building and reviewing models, sensitivity analysis and knowledge of good model design principlesQualificationsRelevant tertiary qualifications in finance, commerce, mathematics, actuarial studies, engineering or a related quantitative disciplineInterested?If you are passionate about clean energy and have the experience we are looking for, we want to hear from you.Our client is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
