Job Title: Investment Banking Analyst I or IILocation: Los Angeles, CAAbout the Firm:We are partnering with a prestigious global elite boutique investment bank that is actively expanding its Los Angeles-based Technology & Media investment banking team. Key Responsibilities:Support execution of M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side mandates, across the technology and media sectorsBuild and maintain complex financial models (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, trading comps)Prepare pitch materials, client presentations, and confidential information memoranda (CIMs)Conduct market, industry, and company research to support strategic advisory workAssist in due diligence, data room management, and coordination with legal, accounting, and other advisorsParticipate in client meetings and internal strategy sessionsContribute to business development efforts by identifying potential opportunities and preparing outreach materialsQualifications:Minimum of 1 year of full-time Investment Banking experience, ideally with exposure to M&A transactionsStrong technical skills, including financial modeling, valuation, and accountingProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with financial databases (e.g., Capital IQ, PitchBook)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple workstreams and meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environmentStrong attention to detail, analytical rigor, and a proactive mindsetTeam-oriented with a strong work ethic and desire to learnPreferred Experience:Prior exposure to Technology or Media sectors is a plus but not requiredExperience working at a boutique, middle-market, or bulge-bracket investment bankIf you meet the qualifications and are excited about the opportunity to work with a top-tier team in Los Angeles, we encourage you to apply or reach out for more information.
