Investment Banking Associate (M&A)

A leading independent mid-market advisory platform is seeking high-calibre Associates (3-5 years’ experience) to join its London team. The firm advises entrepreneurs, private equity sponsors, and corporate clients on complex mergers & acquisitions and strategic transactions across multiple sectors.This is an opportunity to join a highly active deal team with significant responsibility, direct client exposure, and involvement across the full transaction lifecycle.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute sell-side and buy-side M&A mandates from origination through completionBuild and manage detailed financial models and valuation analysesPrepare client presentations, marketing materials, and transaction documentationCoordinate due diligence processes and manage data roomsLiaise directly with management teams, investors, and counterpartiesMentor junior team members and oversee workstreamsRequirements3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, or transaction servicesDemonstrable experience working on multiple completed end-to-end transactions.Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilitiesExcellent communication and client-facing skillsAbility to manage several workstreams under tight deadlinesHigh attention to detail and commercial judgement
