To thrive in this role, you should be proactive and take responsibility for your tasks, communicate effectively and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and have a growth mindset — staying curious, open to feedback, and motivated to continuously learn and develop.What you’ll do:As IS Administrator, you will be responsible for internal Telia systems Linux/Unix OS maintenance, standard service request fulfillment, and incident management. You will assist the team during the projects and retain a high level of client satisfaction.What will help you thrive in this role: 1–3 years of experience working in IT infrastructure or systems administration roles.Linux/Unix knowledge, including command line usage and OS-level troubleshooting.Understanding of incident management and service request processes.Comfortable using English in both written and spoken form in a professional context.Nice to have (not mandatory, but a plus):Scripting or programming experience (e.g., Bash, Python).Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible).Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).Understanding the principles of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CD).Basic knowledge of ITIL framework or certification.Join us to shape smarter living for people, businesses, and the planet.At Telia, we’re a team of 15 000 colleagues across the Nordics and Baltics, passionate about technology and connectivity.
