About PulsettoPulsetto is one of the fastest-growing wellness tech companies, helping people around the world — from the US and UK to Europe and Australia — reduce stress and sleep better with innovative vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) technology.You may have seen us on Netflix’s “Don’t Die”, our founder’s Shark Tank pitch 🦈, or even heard that Cristiano Ronaldo and top NBA players use Pulsetto for recovery.Despite the spotlight, we’re a humble team of 50+, moving fast and working collaboratively — and now we’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join us and take our data infrastructure to the next level.About The RoleYou will be responsible for building Pulsetto’s end-to-end data foundation, improving data quality and accessibility, and driving modernization initiatives involving Cloud, Big Data, and AI/ML.You will collaborate closely with BI, Operations, App, Marketing, Customer Support, Engineering, and other teams to ensure our data layer is robust, automated, and future-proof.Key ResponsibilitiesBUILD — Data Architecture & PipelinesDesign and maintain Pulsetto’s data architecture strategy (DWH, Data Lake, ETL/ELT pipelines).Develop logical and physical data models ensuring scalability and high performance.Build and manage data integration patterns across internal and external systems.Integrate and model data from 20+ business sources (Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, Amazon, Klaviyo, Meta Ads, Impact, GiddyUp, Recharge, 3PLs, NetSuite, internal app, etc.).Integrate and structure data from our internal application, which currently runs on MySQL.Create clean, reliable, and reusable data layers for BI, operations, finance, and product analytics.Current stack: PostgreSQL, Airflow, Tableau. You are encouraged to introduce additional tools if they create meaningful value.Ability to assemble and lead a data team in the future if needed.OPTIMIZE — Performance, Quality & ScalabilityAssess and optimize the current DWH to accelerate reporting and dashboard creation.Implement data quality frameworks, validations, and observability tools.Monitor and tune database performance to ensure stability and cost-efficiency.Improve data accessibility, discoverability, and time-to-dashboard.Lead modernization and migration initiatives as the company scales.Initiate AI-driven forecasting projects (sales, inventory, retention, cost prediction).GOVERN — Standards, Documentation & SecurityImplement data governance standards: MDM, metadata, lineage, access control.Ensure data security, compliance, and enforcement of access policies.Align governance rules with business stakeholders and data owners.Coordinate with external partners and engineering teams on cross-system data consistency.Requirements5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.Strong SQL expertise (advanced).Hands-on experience designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines and scalable data models.Strong understanding of modern data architecture principles.Mandatory Python experience for data processing and automation.Strong experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).Experience integrating and modeling data from multiple business sources.Experience working with relational databases, including MySQL (our internal app uses MySQL).Working knowledge of AWS (Lambda, S3, IAM, RDS, EC2, etc.).Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.Excellent communication and collaboration skills in English and Lithuanian.Nice to HaveExperience working in an e-commerce environment (major plus).Experience with data governance tools, metadata layers, or data quality frameworks.Understanding of the AI/ML lifecycle (training, deployment, monitoring).Experience with large-scale data migration or modernization initiatives.Knowledge of data governance and MDM frameworks.Experience with Cloud / Big Data platforms (Spark, Snowflake, Synapse, Hadoop, dbt).What We OfferHybrid work model – 3 days in the office (Vilnius) or fully remote if you’re based elsewhere.Collaboration with international experts across Europe, the US, and beyond.A chance to build scalable systems in a fast-paced, ambitious environment.Office perks for our Vilnius team – including free lunch 3 times a week.Birthday day off – celebrate on your terms.Pulsetto device – support your well-being daily.An open, supportive environment where dreaming big is part of the job.📍 Location: Vilnius / Hybrid / Remote🕐 Employment Type: Full-time💰 Gross Salary: €4,200 – €6,000 gross per month (depending on experience)
