2 x Fixed Term contract/secondment opportunity for up to 6 months**The Digital services team in the Trust leads on Digital strategy, development, co-ordination, planning, project, and programme management for all Digital and supporting functionsThis role forms part of the IT Operations team within the wider Digital Service.The main purpose of this role is to deliver a high-quality, professional service in issuing, maintaining and upgrading the GHC IT Equipment Estate.This role involves working across all GHC sites to ensure timely delivery, setup, and support of IT devices.The post holder will be part of the core hub that will manage real time communications with customers on the status of IT and Clinical Systems and Operations, liaising directly with other services as required.As part of the IT Deployment Team, the role will be responsible for:Imaging and configuring laptop, desktop and mobile devicesManaging inventory of both new and existing equipmentInstalling hardware, software applications, and security updatesSupporting the full lifecycle of IT equipment, from deployment to decommissioningWe have a skilled and dedicated workforce of over 6000 colleagues working in a diverse range of services over 55 sites and within people’s homes.
