IT Field Engineer

The purpose of this role is to assist the IT Infrastructure manager with the continual smooth running of the IT systems. You will provide technical support onsite and remotely.The CompanyVital Energi is a leading provider of renewable energy infrastructure and systems to the public and private sectors. We are supporting Hospitals, Universities, New Build developments, Towns and Cities as well as Industrial and Commercial clients to decarbonise their buildings.We have and continue to work on ground-breaking projects throughout the UK which are supporting the UK’s Net Zero targets, such as the recently announced £1 billion low-carbon infrastructure project for Westminster.With plans to double our headcount over the coming years, supported by offices opening in new locations across the country and our strong investment pipeline, coupled with our expansion into new markets such as industrial power generation with our very own Energy-from-Waste facility, there is no better time to join the family here at Vital Energi.A few key responsibilities. 1st 2nd Line Troubleshooting Reviewing tender specifications, designing basic networks. Visiting sites across the UK, to support and install IT Infrastructure Ownership of BMS IT Infrastructure Liaising with 3rd party suppliers, Internal controls team and clients Organise and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work Technical documentation creation Out of hours work will be required. Education & Experience: Certified IT Technician would be an advantage ( Comptia A+, Network+, Security+) A full UK driving licenceKnowledge: End user compute (windows 11) Server Knowledge – (phone number removed) Firewall - Cisco Meraki, Fortinet.
