IT Network Engineer

As an IT Network Engineer at Access Bank PLC, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the bank's network infrastructure. Your primary goal will be to ensure reliable and secure connectivity for all users and services, supporting the organization's operations and strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities:

Design and deploy local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other networking solutionsInstall, configure, and manage network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access pointsMonitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliabilityImplement security protocols to protect the network from unauthorized access and threatsCollaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services with applications and systemsDocument network configurations, processes, and procedures for reference and complianceStay updated on the latest networking technologies and industry trends to recommend improvementsAssist in disaster recovery planning and network resiliency measuresRequirementsQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field 3+ years IT Networks experience Experience IT Networks service provider management and engagements Competency in IT Networks management tools and processesMinimum of 3 years of experience in network engineering or related rolesStrong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc. ) and technologiesExperience with Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, Fortinet or other networking hardwareNetwork certifications (Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Huawei, Fortinet Network+, etc.
