Our team of 100+ people aims high (Coca-Cola, we're coming for you!).About The PositionHOLY's IT infrastructure needs to scale—fast. As our IT Operations Manager, you'll professionalize how we manage devices, access, security, and compliance. You'll own the systems that keep 128+ people productive and secure, building an auditable, scalable IT backbone that supports our next phase of growth.This isn't about keeping the lights on. It's about building the foundation for a company scaling from startup chaos to operational excellence—without losing our speed.Your responsibilities will be:IT Infrastructure & Hardware Management: Own meeting-room audio-visual (AV), Wi-Fi, and telephones at the temple; transition to owned hardware; maintain inventory/pricing/contract docs and manage returns (e.g., 100+ devices).Onboarding & Access Management: Set up new colleagues with hardware, SIM cards, and account access; ensure secure provisioning and deprovisioning of software and systems.Cybersecurity & Compliance: Implement IT security standards (password policies, device encryption, MFA), ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and reduce risks from unmanaged devices.Vendor & Provider Relations: Manage relationships with Topi, Deeploi, Grover, 1&1, and other IT service providers to streamline procurement and support. Serve as the primary point of contact for all vendor inquiries, especially during org audits.IT Helpdesk & Governance: Primary contact for troubleshooting to minimize downtime for on-site and remote teams; document and enforce IT security/onboarding/offboarding policies with an auditable compliance log (e.g., ticketing system with approval workflow for access and data provisioning)Scalability Projects: Build processes and systems to support HOLY’s scale-up phase (128+ people, +20 new hires), preparing for future infrastructure growth. (e.g Quarterly backup & restore, Phishing-resistant MFA on SSO, MDM baselines, enhanced Office Security Systems, etc.)About YouTechnical Proficiency: Solid understanding of IT systems, hardware procurement, device management tools (MDM), and troubleshooting across platforms.Process Orientation: You build scalable systems and document workflows. You think in systems, not one-off fixes.Security Mindset: You understand IT risks, proactively implement security practices, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Problem-Solving: You diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly, with minimal hand-holding.Collaboration & Communication: You explain IT processes clearly to non-technical colleagues. You're a partner, not a gatekeeper.Adaptability: You're comfortable with change in a fast-scaling company. You improve processes proactively, not reactively.Ownership Mentality: You take responsibility for IT infrastructure. You ensure smooth operations without constant oversight.Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and German is a must.
