DETAILS:Domain: BankingPosition: IT Project ManagerDuration: 12 Months (Possibility of extension or conversion)Location: Richmond, VA/ Boston, MA/ New York, NY/ Philadelphia, PA/ Cleveland, OH/ Atlanta, GA/ Chicago, IL/ St. Louis, MO/ Minneapolis, MN/ Kansas City, MO/ Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 2- 3 days/Week Onsite)The Project/Program Manager plans, leads, organizes, and motivates complex, cross-functional projects and enterprise-wide programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Key AccountabilitiesProject and Program Management: Analyze proposals, establish work plans, determine resource requirements (time, budget, personnel, funding), and define deliverables and milestones for projects of medium to high complexity.Execution and Delivery: Direct project activities, monitor progress, and lead daily execution to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget, scope, and quality standards.Team Leadership: Provide motivation and leadership to project teams, assign duties, and coordinate personnel activities throughout the project lifecycle.Risk and Governance: Perform risk assessments, implement mitigation plans, and establish appropriate program governance functions in accordance with enterprise policies.Stakeholder and Communication Management: Develop and implement communication plans, create and distribute status reports to stakeholders, and act as an advisor by building and maintaining relationships across all levels of staff and management, including executives.Financial Oversight: Develop and control the program budget, managing expenditures within agreed spending plans.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.Typically requires 5 or more years of IT work experience, including a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated competency in a project coordination role and three or more years of business unit (BU) or BU-facing experience.Requires experience with projects involving one or more technology or functional domain.Familiar with one or more project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques.Ability to blend traditional project management principles and practices with an agile development approach.PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification preferred
