Job Summary Overview:The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves planning, budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Project Manager coordinates with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution while optimizing resources and mitigating risks. The Project Manager is accountable for overall project task coordination, working in partnership with the General Superintendent, and Superintendent assigned to execute the project. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.Responsibilities:• Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental guidelines.• Monitor progress, proactively identify and manage risks, and resolve issues that may arise throughout the life of the project.• Conduct in-person site visits, and coordinate/oversee appropriate level of inspections, and quality control checks.• Manage project documentation, contracts, and permits.• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.• Perform actions required for requests from site/field team, subcontractors, vendors/suppliers, and the clients for prompt response.• Optimize resources, materials, and labor to maximize efficiency in managing the project execution.• Coordinate with Assistant Project Manager and others for securing subcontracted work efforts in support of the defined scope, within the project budget.• Monitor, document, and report project labor execution for expensed and projected man-hours.• Build and maintain professional working relationships with the internal project team, subcontractors, and the project client to facilitate open communication and teamwork for project success.• Utilize project management software (ProCore) to plan project schedule, then track progress and report updates.Education and Qualifications: (Required and/or preferred)• Bachelor’s Degree (required)• 7+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably with a mechanical focus.Field of Study:• Engineering, construction management, project management
